HIDING THE USER ACCOUNT ON THE LOGIN PAGE

In many families, a PC is used by several users. You want to hide the mandatory

account with administrator rights from the eyes of your curious children, while also

disabling it on the initial login screen.

Follow this step:

1) Click START and click RUN...type regedit

2) Click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\

3) Then Click SOFTWARE\

4) Microsoft\

5) WindowsNT\

6) CurrentVersion\

7) Winlogon\

8) SpecialAccounts\

9) UserList

10) Right click on the empty space at the right side of the window.

11) Enter new DWORD value by going to New, DWORD Value and name it as user account

that needs to be hidden on the Windows start page.

12) Open the new entry and set its 'Value' to '0' and exit the registry

*When you start the system next time, the respective account will have disappeared

from teh welcome screen.

*You can bring up the hidden account by pressing [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Del]

*Delete user name at registry that you create to normal start
